Agile Program Manager

Role Overview: As an Agile Program Manager, your main responsibility will be to lead the overall delivery setup and execution, people, and financials management for the assigned software services projects/program work streams. You will work with mid-sized, globally distributed teams to realize defined business outcomes. Additionally, you will partner with Agile leads, other delivery leads, clients, and internal/external stakeholders to drive effective adoption of best practices, deployment of processes, methodologies, and tools, and execute ceremonies to drive continuous improvement on delivery engagements. Your role will also involve managing relationships & status reporting within the organization, with clients, and applicable third parties, as well as managing internal and external dependencies for the project or program. People management responsibilities for team members, track leads, scrum masters, and product owners will also be part of your duties. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the overall delivery setup and execution for assigned software services projects/program work streams - Manage people and financials for the projects to realize defined business outcomes - Partner with Agile leads, other delivery leads, clients, and stakeholders to drive adoption of best practices - Contribute to pre-sales and ensure compliance with legal and operations teams - Manage relationships & status reporting within the organization and with clients & third parties - Manage internal and external dependencies for the project or program - People management responsibilities for team members, track leads, scrum masters, and product owners - Participate in Delivery Management and Agile communities - Act as a servant leader and shield the team from external interference - Create self-organizing teams, build consensus, and resolve conflict - Partner with the product owner and manage backlog - Define project risks and mitigation plans - Keep scrum artifacts updated and visible - Ensure the team follows processes and facilitate scrum ceremonies - Manage team velocity and efficiency at team and individual levels - Articulate project risk and risk mitigation plans to stakeholders Qualifications: - Strong hands-on project management experience - Experience with lead roles on delivery or consulting projects based on Scrum/ Kanban framework - Direct client-facing experience in a consulting/services organization - Knowledge of effort and cost estimation methodologies - People management experience with direct and indirect responsibilities - Strong commercial acumen and understanding of pricing models - Basic level understanding of contracts - Industry experience in Retail, Financial Services, Energy & Commodities, Travel & Hospitality, Automotive, Consumer products preferred (Note: Scoutit is an independent candidate sourcing partner for this hiring.
