Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst, your role will involve supporting the organization by analyzing, interpreting, and reporting data to drive informed business decisions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data delivery and insights. Additionally, you will assist in designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytical tools. Your key responsibilities will include: - Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency - Developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau - Writing and optimizing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for analysis - Assisting in monitoring and maintaining data pipelines and databases - Collaborating with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions - Performing root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implementing corrective actions - Supporting operational reporting, performance metrics tracking, and ad-hoc analysis - Documenting processes, insights, and analysis methodology for reproducibility - Ensuring compliance with data governance policies and maintaining data security standards Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field - Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases - Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau - Data analysis and reporting skills - Dashboard and visualization creation using Power BI or Tableau - Data quality checks and root cause analysis expertise - Understanding of data pipelines and ETL processes - Knowledge of data governance and compliance - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills - Excellent communication and documentation skills - Ability to collaborate effectively with IT and business teams Please note that this is a requirement for one of Scout's clients.
