About the role
We're looking for DevOps & Functional Test Engineers! Responsibilities Perform functional, system, and regression testingDesign and implement automation frameworks (UI & API)Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scriptingIntegrate tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GroovyAnalyse logs and debug issues in Linux environmentsValidate solutions in containerised environments (Docker/Podman)Develop and execute Ansible playbooks for test setupsLeverage AI/ML tools and agents to improve test efficiency and coverageCollaborate with cross-functional teams for defect analysis and resolution Qualifications Strong Testing basics in Test plan development, Test analysis and Test case design methodsStrong Automation testing (UI & API) experience.Strong Python programming , Shell scripting.Strong knowledge on Jenkins, Pipeline development and groovy programmingStrong Automation framework development and knowledge [Robot framework, Allure and other ]Good Linux knowledge and ability to debug and analyse the log files.Good knowledge in Container environments, Dockerfiles, Podman etc.Hands on knowledge in Ansible, playbook development or executionHands on knowledge on using AI models and agents in Test life cycle. Preferred Skills And Qualifications Strong testing fundamentals (test design, analysis, defect lifecycle)Expertise in test automation (UI & API)Strong Python programming & Shell scriptingSkilled in API Development and integration with design level exposureExperience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, GroovyStrong automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Allure, etc.) knowledge.Good Linux knowledge with hands-on debugging/log analysis skillsExperience with containers (Docker/Podman)Knowledge of Ansible (playbook development/execution)Knowledge of AI-driven testing / intelligent automationExperience in firmware/system-level testingExposure to IBM Z / mainframe environmentsKnowledge of security/compliance testing (*Note: Scoutit is an independent candidate sourcing partner for this hiring.
