India | Remote | Full-time UK business hours Pharmacy Module | Clinical Workflows | Product Requirements | UAT Help shape a rapid-growing UK pharmacy technology platform Script Assist is looking for an exceptional Clinical or Product Analyst with hands-on experience working on the pharmacy or medication module of an EHR, EMR, HIS or pharmacy software platform. This role is specifically designed for someone who understands both: - Pharmacy and medication workflows - Healthcare software and product delivery You may currently be working as a: - Clinical Analyst - Product Analyst - Clinical Product Analyst - Healthcare Business Analyst - Application Analyst - Clinical Application Specialist - Functional Consultant Your exact title is less important than the work you have performed. You must have meaningful experience working on the pharmacy or medication functionality within a healthcare software platform. This is a junior-to-mid-level role for a strong individual contributor. You do not need to be a senior manager, but you must have enough pharmacy systems experience to understand complex workflows, challenge unclear requirements and contribute meaningfully from the beginning. For the right person, this role can develop into substantially broader ownership of the Script Assist pharmacy platform. About Script Assist Script Assist is building the operating system for next-generation private healthcare in the UK. Our software is used by clinics, pharmacies and healthcare operators and already supports tens of thousands of medical cannabis prescriptions every month. We are now expanding across additional private healthcare markets, including: - ADHD - Weight management - Longevity - Specialist private medicine - Everyday healthcare - Other complex treatment areas Our pharmacy platform supports live workflows across: - Prescription receipt - Clinical and accuracy checking - Dispensing - Stock and inventory - Batch and expiry management - Fulfilment - Patient communication - Pharmacy reporting - Pharmacy governance You will work directly with our Director of Pharmacy and help ensure that the platform reflects how pharmacies actually need to operate. The role You will act as a bridge between: - Pharmacists and pharmacy operations - Product - Engineering - QA - Implementation - Customer Support - Pharmacy customers Your role will be to understand real pharmacy and clinical requirements and translate them into safe, clear and effective software. For every requirement, you will need to understand both sides of the problem. The pharmacy question What is the pharmacist, dispenser, prescriber or pharmacy operation trying to achieve The system question What workflow, configuration, business rule, validation, integration or product change is required You will not simply record requests and pass them to Engineering. You will be expected to: - Investigate the underlying problem - Understand the complete end-to-end workflow - Ask intelligent and structured questions - Identify edge cases - Consider clinical and patient-safety impacts - Challenge unclear or incomplete requirements - Identify second-order impacts elsewhere in the platform - Help define the correct solution - Validate that the delivered solution works properly What you will do You will support and increasingly own work across: - Analysing end-to-end pharmacy and medication workflows - Gathering requirements from pharmacists, clinicians, customers and operational teams - Translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria - Writing clear functional and product requirements - Documenting workflow logic, system behaviour and business rules - Identifying clinical, operational and patient-safety edge cases - Reviewing proposed solutions with Product and Engineering - Contributing to backlog refinement and product prioritisation - Supporting pharmacy-module configuration - Reviewing wireframes and proposed user experiences - Coordinating UAT with pharmacists and operational users - Designing test scenarios and test cases - Logging and triaging product defects - Validating fixes before release - Supporting implementations, go-lives and hypercare - Investigating live pharmacy-platform issues - Distinguishing between product, configuration, data, workflow and training issues - Supporting medication and pharmacy data validation - Helping define user roles, permissions and clinical controls - Improving pharmacy SOPs, guides and product documentation - Creating training and enablement materials - Identifying recurring workflow problems - Helping shape the future development of the pharmacy platform Relevant pharmacy and medication workflows Relevant experience may include: - Prescription and medication ordering - Pharmacy work queues - Order triage - Clinical checking - Pharmacist verification - Accuracy checking - Medication dispensing - Formulary management - Medication configuration - Dosage, route
