About the role
As an AI Engineer at Scytech India, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and scaling the systems that will drive urban logistics in India to the next level. You will take ownership of building and deploying forecasting models into production, with a focus on achieving measurable impact on SLA compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Build and train forecasting models - Integrate model outputs into our real-time decision engine using Python APIs, Redis, and AWS - Work with simulation data to create training and evaluation sets - Optimize for inference speed using ONNX/TorchScript and quantization techniques - Collaborate with the founders to shape the model roadmap and define key metrics Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in Python along with PyTorch/TensorFlow - Experience with time-series models and data related to traffic, mobility, maps, or forecasting - Understanding of geospatial frameworks - Comfort with data engineering fundamentals such as pipelines, ETL, and SQL/NoSQL databases - Ability to develop, debug, and optimize models for real-time serving Nice to have: - Experience with Redis, OSRM, or similar real-time infrastructure - Background in last-mile logistics, ride-hailing, food and grocery delivery, or mobility data - Exposure to reinforcement learning or simulation-driven training Joining Scytech India will offer you an early engineer role with significant ownership, a competitive salary, meaningful equity, and the opportunity to work on a challenging real-world problem where ML decisions have a direct impact on efficiency.
