Linux & MongoDB Developer

Job Title: Linux & MongoDB Developer Experience: 23 Years Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Linux & MongoDB Developer with 2–3 years of experience to manage Linux servers, administer MongoDB databases, and support application deployment and performance optimization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Linux administration, MongoDB, shell scripting, and troubleshooting production environments. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL). Install, configure, and administer MongoDB databases. Monitor MongoDB performance, replication, backup, and recovery. Manage database security, user roles, and access permissions. Perform MongoDB data migration, indexing, and query optimization. Automate routine administrative tasks using Shell/Bash scripting. Deploy and maintain applications in Linux environments. Monitor system health, disk usage, CPU, memory, and network performance. Troubleshoot server, application, and database-related issues. Configure and manage scheduled jobs using Cron. Perform regular server maintenance, patching, and upgrades. Collaborate with development teams for deployments and production support. Maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Linux Administration (Ubuntu/CentOS/RHEL) . Hands-on experience with MongoDB Administration . Experience with MongoDB Replication and Backup & Restore . Knowledge of Shell/Bash Scripting . Familiarity with Linux commands, file systems, permissions, and process management. Experience with SSH, SCP, Rsync, and system monitoring tools. Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall). Experience with Git version control. Knowledge of application deployment on Linux servers. Preferred Skills Experience with Docker and containerization. Knowledge of Nginx or Apache web servers. Experience with CI/CD tools. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Zabbix. Educational Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently in a production support environment.
