Software Developer SDH Systems LLC Posted 3 years ago Location: Remote Salary: $49.66/Hour Job duties: Responsible for application development performing design, coding, testing and debugging with mainframe skills such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, SYNCSORT, File Aid, AbendAid. Create tables, triggers in SQL and DB2 stored procedure. Create technical design specifications and unit test results documents. Programming, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, ensuring quality of deliverables. Execute various forms of testing – unit, system, regression, integration, performance, volume. Provide support to QA and UAT team members. Participate effectively in all project related meetings. Develop batch programs and online transactions for Adhoc reporting. Code solutions that meet the business requirements in a timely and accurate manner Create batch jobs and install them in production through version control tool Endevor. Work with the scheduling team to schedule the batch jobs in Control-M. Perform on-call duties for nightly and weekend batch cycles to meet the business service level agreements (SLA). Performs database/ disaster recovery planning for multiple systems when needed. Follow Scrum/Agile methodology in project implementation. Minimum Education Requirement: This position requires minimum of Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
