Systems Engineer SDH Systems LLC Posted 7 years ago Job Title: Systems Engineer Location: Harrisburg, PA 17103 Duration: 3 Years Work Schedule: Full Time Salary: $81,000.00/Annum + Company Standard Benefits Job Duties: Design or develop software systems with architectural diagram of application and its possible outcomes. Consult with engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements. Direct application maintenance and its documentation Modify existing software to correct errors and to adapt it to new hardware or to upgrade interfaces and improve performance. Consult with customers or other departments on project status, technical issues considering new application build and existing application maintenance. Analyze information to determine, recommend and plan installation of new system environment. Monitor functioning of equipment to ensure system operates in conformance with specifications. Advice customer about and perform maintenance of software system. Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities or status. Train users to use new or modified equipment and help with issues within application. Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subject.
