The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Fabric/Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Talend ETL, SQL. This role requires a strong technical foundation, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to design and maintain scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize robust and scalable data pipelines using Talend ETL Azure Databricks & ADF, Azure Fabric. Develop, maintain, and optimize data models, ETL workflows, and data integration processes. Work with structured and unstructured data to enable downstream analytics, reporting, and data science use cases. Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval processes across Azure /AWS environments. Write efficient, clean, and well-optimized SQL queries for complex data transformations and analytics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Product Owners to understand requirements and deliver data solutions. Implement data quality checks, monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure high reliability of data pipelines. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices. Understand business, operations, and analytics requirements for data Build data expertise and own data quality for assigned areas of ownership Work with Data Infrastructure team to triage issues and drive to resolution Manage foundational data administration tasks like scheduling jobs, troubleshooting errors, ensuring data quality, etc. Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills Strong understanding of connecting multiple marketing data APIs Good communication skills and liaise with cross functional team to scope and complete reporting / data analytics projects Position Requirements: Bachelors/masters in engineering or information management or information technology or Applied Mathematics or Computer Science or equivalent degree or professional experience 4+ years of data engineering and automation related working experience using modern data architecture-based data warehouses Hands-on experience in Azure Databricks & ADF, Azure Fabric, SQL, Talend etc. Expertise with data systems working with massive data sets from various data sources Experience in writing complex SQLs to analyze and troubleshoot the issues/problems Excellent data engineering and scripting knowledge Advanced knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write stored procedures, triggers, analytic/windowing functions, and tuning Advanced knowledge of Snowflake, including the ability to write and orchestrate streams and tasks Business knowledge on sales and marketing analytics especially for eCommerce domain Strong verbal and written communication & presentation skills Please share your updated resume at priyankara@sdintl.com.
