Junior Kotlin Developer

As a Kotlin Developer at SDLC Corp in Noida, Sector 94, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin. You will work on building modern and responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose, integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, and optimizing application performance, reliability, and scalability. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot and resolve application issues, participate in code reviews, and follow coding best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin. - Build modern and responsive user interfaces using Jetpack Compose. - Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services. - Work with maps, location services, and background services. - Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, QA engineers, and product managers. - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and bugs. - Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in Kotlin. - Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose. - Good knowledge of Android SDK and Android Architecture Components. - Experience with Maps Integration (Google Maps/Map APIs). - Strong understanding of Android Services and Service Classes. - Experience with MVVM Architecture. - Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON parsing. - Familiarity with Coroutines and asynchronous programming. - Experience with Room Database and local data storage. - Understanding of Git/GitHub version control. - Knowledge of app deployment and publishing on the Google Play Store. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Firebase services (Push Notifications, Analytics, Crashlytics). - Understanding of dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt/Dagger. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities.
