About the role
As a Senior Product Manager at Zinnia, you will play a crucial role in leading the Product Life Cycle and contributing significantly to research and development activities related to designing and developing products. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and contributing to the execution of product lifecycle processes for Insurtech products/platforms. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product requirements are met, evaluating product performance, and transitioning products from development to commercialization. - Conducting technical discussions with Engineering teams and managing technical/business requirements. - Assisting in determining product delivery and deployment dates for new releases and maintenance releases. - Mentoring and driving a team of Product Managers, acting as a technical consultant, and leading research and prototyping of innovative technologies. - Ensuring the technology and architectural roadmap aligns with the product/business roadmap. - Acting as a customer liaison on technical issues related to product integration and custom development. - Managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development, including major releases and feature enhancements. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 8+ years of experience in Product Management, including software/product design, development, and deployment. - A Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent Degree in technology or a related field. - Strong background working as a Technical Product Manager or Business Analyst/Product Analyst in an enterprise environment. - Hands-on understanding of API Integration, SQL, Data Analysis, etc. - Strong understanding of SDLC, technology system interfaces, data integration, networks, and operating systems. - Experience coaching and mentoring a team of Product Managers or Product Owners. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills. - The ability to lead individual assignments with expertise. - Expert level experience in delivery methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban and relevant tools. - The ability to influence, lead, and work in a cross-functional global team setup. - Experience in the Life & Annuity Industry is preferred but not mandatory.
