About the role
About our group
We are the Media Process Failure Analysis (FA) team within Media Process Engineering. Our core responsibility is identifying disk failures using advanced tools such as microscopes, Candela, and AFM. We support production line conversions and provide detailed failure reports to process teams. By working closely with process groups, we help improve product quality and operational efficiency. Through data analysis, we identify root causes and recommend solutions to enhance process stability and performance
