The Firmware & Test Engineering group is a global team focused on the development of Seagate’s HDD SelfTest Firmware and Test Process About the role - you will: ● Develop HDD Firmware and SelfTest platform in C/Python ● Improve the performance of HDD SelfTest Process ● Work with DC and factory teams to analyze and fix issues during HDD SelfTest Process ● Work with cross-function teams to improve product yield, test time, and quality performance About you: ● Bachelor or above. Knowledge of Science or Engineering ● Good understanding of embedded firmware & software architecture ● Effective communication and interpersonal skills, Able to use verbal and written communication in English ● Can work independently, innovative, disciplined, Active, self-motivative, A positive attitude for work and willingness to accept challenges ● Good logical ability, strong learning ability and good problem-solving skills ● Down-to-earth attitude with good teamwork Your experience includes: ● Python language programming ● C language programming ● Troubleshooting, analyzing, designing and debugging capability ● Cross-functional team working ● Bachelor and/or equivalent experience ● Data analysis and processing skill ● Knowledge of Storage System ● Fluent English Location: Located in the high technology district, our site in Wuxi is a global manufacturing hub, where more than 4,000 employees deliver technical services, customer test, manufacturing and support capabilities.
