Quality Engineering (QE) Intern Location Duration About the Role Key Responsibilities Understand product requirements and convert them into comprehensive test scenarios and test cases. Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing. Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug tracking tools. Execute manual test cases for web applications and APIs. Assist in developing and maintaining automation test scripts. Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman. Collaborate with developers to reproduce, troubleshoot, and verify bug fixes. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and QA reviews. Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and quality metrics. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards. Required Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Basic knowledge of software testing concepts and defect life cycle. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Understanding of SQL and database concepts. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks. Experience with API testing using Postman or REST Assured. Basic understanding of Git/GitHub. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Exposure to JIRA, Azure DevOps, or other defect management tools. Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
