Role & responsibilities Technical Review of New product development Review of customer PO and other technical documents for new sample development. Prepare Control Plan, Process sheet, and Process Flow chart as and when required by customer. Releasing work order and hand it over to concern department for further process. Review of RFQs, and specifications given by customer to work out manufacturing feasibility for sample development. Ensure new manufacturing drawings preparation with Engineering department should be as per specifications or sample given by customer. Prepare, and maintain First Article Inspection report and related documents. Ensure proof machining drawing to be prepare by Engineering department. Develop a concept of new tooling, Jigs & Fixtures drawing as per requirement for Assembly and Testing when needed. Close coordination and follow up with cross functional departments to meet the sample development time line as per customer commitment date. Raise Inquiry to Supply chain or Sub con for outside process and raw material costing. Coordination with Supply chain and Sub con for special process costing for RFQ as well as for NPD if needed. Project Review of critical geometry with cross functional team like, Production, Supply chain, QC and Sub Con for manufacturing feasibility before final quote work out. Support costing team (SEE Standard or Customer Specific) with operation wise and submit to higher authority for final approval. Assist periodically with special projects as required. Collaborate with cross functional team within the organization to establish timeline of the Costing projects, as well as solve problems. Maintain IMS documentations as per departmental procedure and retention period. Follow OHSAS and Safety norms as per procedure. Maintain 5S at work place. May have to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency as and when required by the management. Preferred candidate profile Project Plan & Execution Knowledge of industry, engineering & Material. Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. Knowledge of Fusion and SAP.
