What You Will DoThe SAP Business Administrator will ensure the companys SAP environments function efficiently and provide worldclass customer support. The role supports key SAP applications that touch all aspects of the companys financial, ordering, inventory, purchasing, shipping, and engineering practices. The administrator collaborates with crossdepartment teams, handles daily operations, and contributes to project initiatives. Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop understanding of key business processes within SAP and collaborate with team members to design solutions and process improvements.Execute against system architecture roadmaps, including SAP landscape management.Participate in and understand SAP infrastructure design (server, storage, high availability, and disaster recovery).Perform core SAP Basis administrator functions: process service tickets, monitor performance, tune and manage capacity.Plan, install, patch SAP and database systems, perform system refreshes.Be part of an oncall rotation and flexible to work US hours, including weekends when required.Participate in healthcheck, break/fix and operational report activities.Prepare formal documentation such as specifications, system diagrams and test scripts.Monitor, analyze, and identify trends for system performance and resource utilization.Support SAP DT teams during critical system outages and maintenance.QualificationsMust HaveBachelors degree and 8+ years experience in an SAP Basis role.Strong understanding of IT networking concepts, servers, storage, databases, PCs, and application architecture.Knowledge of systems architecture / performance management methodologies and tools.Ability to communicate with multiple organizational levels, including leadership.Experience administering SAP ECC, BW, PI, Solution Manager, and HANA systems.Experience in Shell scripting and Excel VBA.PreferredExperience with SAP technology, architecture, and interfaces including SAP batch processing.Prior work in a large, global SAP environment.Experience with Oracle, HANA, Linux, and Cloud.Knowledge of ITIL framework and/or lean manufacturing tools and methodologies.Experience with SAP S/4, CRM, SNC, SLT, Hybris, and Web Dispatchers.Knowledge of Web technologies, firewalls, proxies, and SSO frameworks.BenefitsMeal coupons and vouchers.Group Term Life Insurance.Group Health Insurance.Group Personal Accident Insurance.18 days of vacation and 12 days of contingency leave annually.Employee scholar programme.Work life balance initiatives.Car lease programme.National Pension Scheme.Long Term Asset (LTA).Fuel & Maintenance / Driver wages.RTX adheres to the principles of equal employment.
