About the role
Design and develop closures such as doors, hood, tailgate, and fenders in the Body-in-White (BIW) domain. Create and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using tools like CATIA V5/V6. Ensure compliance with packaging, manufacturability, safety, and cost targets. Coordinate with CAE, stamping, tooling, manufacturing, and supplier teams. Resolve design issues and support engineering change management (ECNs/ECRs). Perform tolerance stack-up, gap & flush analysis, and design validation. Follow Renault-Nissan Alliance engineering standards and product development processes. Required Skills Strong knowledge of BIW closure systems (Door, Hood, Tailgate). CATIA V5/V6, Teamcenter/PLM experience. GD&T, sheet metal design, welding, hemming, and joining methods. Understanding of DFMEA, DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, and automotive manufacturing.
