As a Software Quality Assurance Intern at Semtech, you will play a crucial role in validating mission-critical cellular modules and routers to ensure they meet the highest standards of performance, stability, and usability. Responsibilities: - Assist in the development and execution of software test plans to validate functionality and performance of networking and telecom products under guidance from senior team members. - Perform manual and automated test execution for new features and regression scenarios, documenting results for software debugging and quality improvements. - Log, track, and verify defects using tools such as JIRA, collaborating with software developers to investigate and resolve issues. - Contribute to the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts, gaining hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and practices. - Participate in team meetings, test reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to build domain understanding and support the continuous improvement of QA processes. Minimum Qualifications: - Actively pursuing a degree or certification in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field. - Possess a growth mindset and open to learning and receiving feedback. - Comfortable working in a team environment or autonomously on project work. - Basic understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP. - Familiarity with software testing principles and tools. - Good problem-solving and communication skills. - Exposure to scripting languages like Python, Bash, etc. - Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, and basic automation concepts.
