Senior Design Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at this company, your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing mechanical components, systems, and assemblies using CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX-Cad, and AutoCAD - Conducting feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate the performance, safety, and efficiency of designs - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of mechanical components into overall product designs - Creating detailed engineering drawings, GD&T, material specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly - Performing engineering calculations, simulations, and tests to validate design concepts and optimize performance - Participating in design reviews and providing technical expertise for design improvements - Identifying and resolving design issues during the development process - Staying updated on trends, advancements, and best practices in mechanical engineering and design - Supporting prototype development, testing, and validation activities, and making necessary design adjustments - Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to select suitable materials and components - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards - Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in design processes, methodologies, and tools Please note that this job opportunity is with Senso Vision, a technology consulting and development startup.
