Job Description: Design, develop, and debug Linux device drivers and Board Support Packages (BSP) for embedded systems. Integrate, configure, and optimize the Linux kernel for custom hardware platforms. Collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up, hardware validation, and kernel-level debugging. Develop and maintain low-level software components, including bootloaders, middleware, and firmware interfaces. Perform kernel customization, configuration, and patch management for production-ready embedded systems. Support firmware updates, system performance optimization, and production release activities. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, firmware, and quality assurance, to ensure reliable system integration. Required Skills & Experience: 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Linux kernel and driver development. Strong proficiency in C programming for embedded systems. Experience in BSP development, bootloader (U-Boot), and kernel configuration. Knowledge of SoC architectures (ARM, x86, etc.) and hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, USB, etc.). Familiarity with Yocto build system, cross-compilation, and debugging tools (JTAG, GDB, etc.). Understanding of embedded Linux distributions and system integration processes.
