About the role
Responsibilities - What You'll Do Architecture & Design Lead the architectural design of Salesforce CPQ Cloud solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and long-term maintainability. - Define CPQ solution architecture covering products, bundles, pricing, discounting, approvals, subscriptions, renewals, and amendments. - Solution Development Design and deliver end-to-end CPQ solutions aligned to complex sales and finance processes. - Configure advanced CPQ features including Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules, Quote Templates, and Contracting. - Design CPQ data models aligned with enterprise standards and downstream systems. - Technical Leadership Provide technical leadership and mentorship to CPQ consultants and development teams. - Define best practices, design patterns, and governance standards for Salesforce CPQ implementations. - Integration Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce CPQ and enterprise systems such as ERP, billing, and finance platforms. - Work with APIs, middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), and event-based integrations to ensure seamless data flow. - Customization & Automation Design and build automation using Salesforce Flows, approvals, and Apex (batch jobs where required). - Customize Salesforce platform components to support CPQ-driven business processes. - Performance & Optimization Monitor and optimize CPQ performance, quote calculation efficiency, and data integrity. - Address scalability concerns for large product catalogs and complex pricing models. - Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust CPQ architectures. - Act as a trusted advisor for CPQ strategy and roadmap decisions. - Documentation & Standards Create and maintain architecture diagrams, solution documentation, and implementation standards. - Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security guidelines. .
