Data Infrastructure Administrator

As a Data Infrastructure Administrator at ServiceTitan, you will play a pivotal role in the Enterprise Data Administration team, which builds solutions for various enterprise use cases such as analytics, data science, and financial reporting. Your primary focus will be on administering and governing the tech stack centered on Snowflake and other technologies like FiveTran, DataBricks, DBT, Airflow, and Monte Carlo. Your responsibilities will include optimizing performance, putting security first, automating operations, controlling costs, and optionally managing the Tableau ecosystem. Role Overview: You will design and maintain the Snowflake environment, managing everything from Users, RBAC to warehouse scaling strategies. Additionally, you will identify bottleneck queries in Snowflake and inefficiencies in other technologies, implement data security standards, automate operations using Python or SQL, monitor credit consumption and storage usage, and oversee the Tableau Cloud environment if required. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and Govern the tech stack centered on Snowflake - Manage other technologies including FiveTran, DataBricks, DBT, Airflow, and Monte Carlo - Optimize performance and identify inefficiencies - Implement data security standards and integrate SSO/SAML providers - Automate user provisioning, monitoring alerts, and routine maintenance tasks - Monitor credit consumption and storage usage to ensure infrastructure scalability - Optionally help manage the Tableau ecosystem Qualifications Required: - B.S., M.S., or PhD degree in Computer Science or a related field - 3+ years of experience in Data Infrastructure Administration - Experience with Administering Data Platform Technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.) - Proficiency in SQL and Python - Experience managing Data infrastructure on a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Experience with Azure Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, dbt, Airflow, Spark, and Terraform is preferred - Security-first mindset with expertise in data security standards, data governance, security, and compliance At ServiceTitan, we value individuality, uniqueness, and diversity.
