About the role
As a Database Administrator at Servify, your role will involve: - Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly - Performing migration of projects between various environments (dev, test, production) and maintaining change control - Establishing proper user accounts and monitoring user access and security - Carrying out capacity planning - Enforcing and documenting database policies, procedures, and standards - Communicating regularly with technical, applications and operational staff to ensure database integrity and security - Providing trend analysis to the management team to enable informed decision-making Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum Experience of 10+ years - Expertise in working on MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB on medium to large systems - Proficiency in performance tuning, backup, recovery, security, disaster recovery, patching, and upgrades - Development experience is an added advantage Servify is a global product lifecycle management company, operating across 3 continents (in India, North America, Europe, and MENA), that focuses on designing as well as administering custom product protection programs and exchange/upgrade programs for carriers, OEM brands, and retailers.
