Senior Mendix Developer

Position: Senior Mendix Developer Experience: 4+ Years Location: Pune Employment Type: Full-Time Certification: Mendix Advanced Developer Certification Mandatory Location: Pune Company: ServiPhi Technologies Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Mendix professional with strong expertise in enterprise application development, solution architecture, integrations, and application lifecycle management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering scalable, secure, high-performance applications using Mendix and will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, technical teams, and enterprise integration teams to deliver robust technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Mendix Application Development Design, develop, and maintain complex enterprise applications using Mendix Studio Pro . Build scalable and reusable application architectures following Mendix best practices. Develop complex Microflows, Nanoflows, Workflows, Domain Models, Pages, and Reusable Modules . Design efficient data models and implement complex business logic. Develop modular, maintainable, and high-performing Mendix applications. Perform technical analysis and translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. Enterprise Integrations Design and implement integrations between Mendix applications and enterprise systems. Develop and consume REST and SOAP APIs . Work with external systems such as ERP, CRM, IAM, databases, and other enterprise applications. Implement secure API integrations, authentication mechanisms, data transformations, and error handling. Troubleshoot integration issues across distributed systems. Architecture & Technical Design Contribute to technical architecture and solution design for enterprise-grade applications. Apply best practices related to application scalability, performance, security, and maintainability. Design reusable components and shared modules to support enterprise application development. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimization. Collaborate with Solution Architects and Technical Leads on design decisions and architecture reviews. Application Lifecycle & Deployment Manage application development across development, testing, UAT, and production environments. Support deployment activities and application release management. Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps teams for automated application deployment. Troubleshoot production issues and provide root cause analysis. Support application monitoring, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives. Quality & Engineering Practices Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to Mendix development standards. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution. Ensure application quality, security, performance, and maintainability. Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Create and maintain technical documentation, design documents, and deployment guides. Required Technical Skills 4+ years of hands-on experience in Mendix development. Mendix Advanced Developer Certification is mandatory. Strong experience with Mendix Studio Pro and enterprise application development. Excellent knowledge of: Microflows and Nanoflows Domain Models and Associations XPath and Data Access Workflows Pages and UI Development Reusable Components and Modules Mendix Security Model Strong experience with REST and SOAP web services . Experience with API authentication and security mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0 and token-based authentication. Strong understanding of relational databases and data modelling. Experience with SQL and database integrations. Knowledge of application performance optimization and troubleshooting. Experience with version control and collaborative development practices. Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices for enterprise application deployment. Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills Experience working on large-scale enterprise Mendix implementations. Experience with Mendix Cloud, private cloud, or on-premise deployments. Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps pipelines. Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and API management platforms. Experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or other enterprise systems. Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or other programming languages. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Additional Mendix certifications such as Intermediate or Expert-level certifications. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be: Technically strong with hands-on enterprise Mendix development experience. Capable of independently owning modules and technical deliverables. Comfortable working with complex business requirements and enterprise integrations. Strong in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimization. Able to collaborate effectively with architects, developers, QA teams, business analysts, and business stakeholders. Passionate about building scalable, secure, and maintainable low-code solutions.
