About the role
As a HAM Analyst, your role involves configuration and maintenance of Hardware Asset Management Workspace for Operational Use. You will be responsible for knowledge transfer to the Hardware Asset Management Team on Hardware Asset Management Workspace to support day-to-day activities. Your key responsibilities include: - Ensuring correctness and completeness of Asset related attributes populated from Discovery and non-discoverable attributes. - Daily remediation of discrepancies and gaps reported through the ITAM Dashboards. - Normalization of Hardware Models and population of Lifecycle data (EOL/EOS) from Content Library. - Establishing and managing data Certification cycle for Product Owners to certify EOL/EOS dates. - Identifying and reporting on Hardware Product EOL/EOS dates with a focus on Products approaching EOL/EOS dates. - Enabling Out of the Box Catalogs/Workflows for Lifecycle Management. - Populating Financial data for each defined Hardware. - Tracking and reporting on financial costs associated with Hardware Assets. Your objectives include: - Maturing knowledge and usage of Hardware Asset Management and HAM Pro Components. - Improving Visibility and Insights of Hardware Asset Management Data. - Enhancing Correctness and Completeness Hardware Model Data. - Improving Data Consistency and Accuracy for Hardware Assets. - Maturing End of Life and End of Support Management for Hardware Assets. - Providing Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cost Optimization through Financial Management of Hardware Assets. Moving on to the role of CMDB Admin/Support, your responsibilities will include: - Enforcing data quality standards and managing data access controls. - Performing data cleansing and de-duplication to ensure data quality. - Defining data validation rules and enforcing data governance policies. - Configuring CMDB views and dashboards for easy access to relevant information. - Creating reports and dashboards to monitor CMDB health, identify data quality issues, and track changes. - Analyzing CMDB data to identify trends and insights for service improvement. - Providing technical support for CMDB-related queries and troubleshooting issues.
