As a Product Manager II for our client, you will play a crucial role in supporting program managers, grid operators, and internal admin teams to maximize impact on grid flexibility. Your responsibilities will include: - Being a key member of the Product Management team, influencing development efforts, customer experience, and market success. - Collaborating with Engineering and Design to support development pods in an Agile Scrum environment, including writing high-quality User Stories and aligning sprint planning with product strategy. - Ensuring visibility, transparency, and clear prioritization of the Product Backlog, defining scope for upcoming sprints and near-term roadmap objectives. - Advocating for the customer in your product area, ensuring that customer needs and business goals guide development priorities. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Contribute to the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area. - Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet product goals, deadlines, and deliverables. - Manage the pod team's backlog by collaborating with stakeholders to triage, refine, and prioritize work. - Decompose epics into stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure delivery meets expectations. To excel in this position, you should bring: - 6+ years of Product Manager experience in delivering successful products in SaaS, consumer, or enterprise software environments. - A strong background in reusable components based front-end architecture and widget-based product design. - A usability mindset with the ability to define intuitive user experiences and collaborate effectively with Product Design. - Experience in driving widgetization or modularization strategies for scalable product capabilities. - Understanding of functional workflows and key technical aspects of frontend systems to partner effectively with engineering teams. - Ability to discuss technical concepts such as APIs, system integrations, and basic database queries. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to express complex ideas clearly. - Experience working within Agile Scrum development processes and proficiency with backlog management tools like Jira. Qualifications for this role include technical and/or management education, with a postgraduate degree preferred but not mandatory. The job is remote, and the experience in Frontend Architecture/Widget/reusable UI component is crucial for this role.
