Ruby on Rails Developer

As a Ruby on Rails Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for independently building, maintaining, and scaling web applications from database design to front-end integration. You will collaborate with a US-based team remotely. Key Responsibilities: - Strong fundamentals in Ruby and Rails (v5/v6/v7) - Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL for schema design, migrations, and query optimization - Developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript; familiarity with Hotwire/Turbo or React is a plus - Proficiency in testing with RSpec or Minitest - Experience with Git, Linux command line, and deployment on AWS or Heroku - Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD processes - Understanding of background jobs using Sidekiq or Delayed Job Qualifications Required: - Self-driven and comfortable working independently - Proactive communicator across different time zones - Good written English skills for asynchronous collaboration - Ability to work effectively across various time zones, with an overlap with US hours preferred Nice to Have Skills: - Experience with GraphQL - Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies - Previous experience working with US clients or remote teams This job offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a remote setting while collaborating with a US-based team.
