About the role
SFO is seeking candidates with system engineering experience for optoelectronic system development. High end Laser and sensor system development. Shall be able to analyze high level customer requirements and application use cases to derive key system requirements. Should be able to conceptualize the design and work with optical, mechanical, electrical and firmware teams to prototype and test the system design. 3-6 years in same field The candidate should have prior experience in similar system design and leverage these experience to guide and optimize optoelectronic system architecture for performance, size and cost. Designing and characterizing various opto-electronics modules Familiar with analog and digital electronics design and embedded firmware development. Hands-on experience in system build Mil Qualification of products Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team Experience is program management (Preferred)
