As an AWS DevOps Engineer specializing in Terraform and CI/CD, your role involves designing, automating, and optimizing AWS environments to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable deployments across various environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (or CloudFormation) for AWS environments. - Developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools and best practices. - Automating deployment processes and managing environment configurations across development, staging, and production. - Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for performance, cost efficiency, and security. - Collaborating with Development, QA, and Operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery. - Implementing and managing AWS services such as EC2 (VMs), EKS/AKS, App Services, Storage, Networking, and Security components. - Ensuring adherence to security standards, governance policies, and compliance requirements. - Diagnosing and resolving infrastructure, deployment, and performance-related issues. Qualifications Required: - 5-10 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering. - Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and continuous integration workflows. - Solid understanding of AWS cloud services and architecture best practices. - Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills. - Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/AKS) is preferred. - Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to work in a collaborative environment. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are an added advantage. Additional Details: The preferred skills for this role include experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK, or Prometheus, familiarity with security best practices, IAM policies, and network configurations, and knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation.
