About the role
Key Responsibilities Integrate company modules with customer control systems (PLCs, relays, automation panels). Modify Ladder and test PLC communication (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Fanuc) to add custom I/O and communication logic. Configure and Test Ethernet communication with industrial control PLCs Design and develop PCB-based electronic modules from concept to prototype to production. Work with microcontrollers, NodeMCU, GPIO, signal conditioning, sensors, AC-DC & DC-DC converters, and EMI filtering circuits. Configure and troubleshoot industrial protocols (RS232, RS485, UART, MODBUS, Ethernet/TCP) with our IoT devices Perform basic prototype programming (Arduino IDE) for proof-of-concept modules. Coordinate installation and commissioning with field engineers Mount and configure devices on LAN/Wi-Fi networks. Diagnose on-site issues such as devices not powering up, not counting, or failing to connect to servers. Occasionally travel with the team to customer sites for installation and commissioning Skills & Competencies : Important: Knowledge of PLC programming ladder logic, structured text, timers, and counters. Important: Experience in modification of PLC Ladder in CNC Control Systems like Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsibushi, HAAS, Makino, etc. Important: Proficiency in industrial protocols: MODBUS RTU/TCP, RS232, RS485, UART, Ethernet Important: Familiarity with electronics, digital signalling & microcontrollers (ESP32, NodeMCU, STM32, Arduino, PIC) and PCB Design Important: Understanding of power electronics (AC-DC, DC-DC converters, EMI/EMC). Experience with industrial sensors, actuators, encoders, and stepper motors. Strong understanding of electronic circuit design, electrical wiring diagrams and hardware debugging. Hands-on skills with Arduino IDE for quick prototyping.
