Science Reporting Authority Manager- Technical SupportExperience2-3 years We are seeking a talented and motivated Local Technical & Service Engineer to join our team. The Local Technical & Service Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing machine vision automation solutions for local applications and projects. The ideal candidate should have a robust background in IT hardware, machine vision, image processing, and software development, with a passion for applying cutting-edge technology to solve real-world manufacturing problems. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and deploy automated machine vision algorithms and applications for local projects and use cases. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop technical specifications for vision and tracking systems. - Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations of machine vision technologies, ID and tools to determine the best solutions for specific applications. - Implement and optimize computer vision algorithms for image analysis, object detection, recognition, and classification. - Integrate manufacturing automation systems with existing hardware and software infrastructure, including scanner, cameras, sensors, and control systems. - Develop and maintain software libraries, frameworks, and tools for ID & machine vision development and deployment. - Test and validate machine vision & ID systems in laboratory and field environments to ensure accuracy, reliability, and robustness. - Troubleshoot and debug ID & machine vision systems, identify issues, and propose effective solutions to improve performance and efficiency. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in barcoding ID, machine vision technologies, research papers, and industry trends to continuously enhance knowledge and skills. - Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and partners to evaluate and integrate third-party components and solutions into machine vision projects. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in ID, computer vision, image processing, and machine learning, with hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine vision applications. - Solid understanding of barcoding, computer vision libraries and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience with deep learning models for image analysis. - Experience with ID, camera calibration, 3D reconstruction, point cloud processing, and feature extraction techniques. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable machine vision solutions. - Experience with barcoding, industrial automation, robotics, or related fields is a plus. .
