About the role
We are seeking an experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to lead and evolve our quality strategy across a mission-critical FinTech platform. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and regulatory compliance of our software products while enabling rapid, high-quality releases in an agile environment.
The ideal candidate combines hands-on QA expertise with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of software development lifecycles, and experience working in regulated or high-availability environments such as FinTech, payments, banking, or SaaS.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Leadership
Define, implement, and continuously improve the company’s QA strategy, standards, and best practices
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers (manual and automation)
Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and reporting to provide visibility into product health and release readiness
Advocate for quality across the organization and embed QA early in the SDLC
Testing & Automation
Oversee test planning, test case development, and execution for web, mobile, and API-based applications
Drive automation strategy across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
Ensure effective test coverage for complex financial workflows, calculations, and edge cases
Evaluate and select QA tools, frameworks, and platforms
Collaboration & Delivery
Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, and Security teams
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning
Ensure QA processes align with Agile and CI/CD pipelines
Manage release sign-off and risk assessment
Compliance, Security & Risk
Ensure testing practices support regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, PCI DSS, SOX, GDPR, etc., as applicable)
Collaborate with security teams on vulnerability testing, penetration testing support, and data protection validation
Help identify, assess, and mitigate quality and operational risks
