BA with Reinsurance

Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for ceded reinsurance systems. Work with underwriting, claims, finance, actuarial, accounting, operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria. Support ceded reinsurance processes including treaty and facultative reinsurance, premium cession, claims recoveries, commissions, settlements, bordereaux, accounting, and reporting. Define business rules for quota share, surplus, excess of loss, catastrophe, retentions, limits, layers, reinstatements, and reinsurer participation. Support London Market requirements and workflows, including market standard processes, bordereaux handling, statements, and operational controls. Prepare source-to-target mappings and support integrations across policy, claims, billing, finance, general ledger, and reporting systems. Support data migration activities, including migration requirements, mapping, profiling, validation, and business sign-off. Perform and coordinate reconciliation of migrated data between legacy and target systems to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency. Support SIT, UAT, defect triage, production validation, and post-go-live issue resolution. Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end support, including reinsurance accounting and reconciliation activities. .
