About the role

As a Jr. Landscape Architect at our Mumbai office, you will be an integral part of our Landscape team. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with experienced landscape architects to prepare high-quality working drawings, construction details, and presentation plans for a variety of landscape projects, including institutional campuses, hospitals, sports complexes, and urban parks. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed landscape working drawings, sections, planting plans, grading, drainage, and landscape construction details. - Draft hardscape and softscape plans, layouts, and specifications based on landscape design concepts. - Work on GFC (Good for Construction) drawings, BOQ quantities extraction, and area statements. - Coordinate with architects, structural, civil, and MEP consultants for drawing integration. - Incorporate municipal and statutory requirements into drawings (e.g., tree NOCs, environmental regulations). - Maintain proper layering, drafting standards, and drawing accuracy. - Assist the team in 2D and basic 3D presentation drawings when required. - Regularly update drawings based on client/consultant/site feedback. - Support site teams by providing drawing clarifications as needed. Key Skills Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory), experience with SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office. - Good understanding of landscape design elements, materials, and site coordination. - Ability to read and understand architectural, civil, and structural drawings. - Knowledge of levels, grading plans, and basic services routing in landscape projects. - Familiarity with horticulture/planting plans is a plus. - Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines. Qualifications: - Degree in Landscape Architecture or Diploma in Civil Drafting with 2+ years of experience in landscape drafting. Preferred: - Exposure to large-scale institutional, healthcare, or sports landscape projects. - Knowledge of landscape materials, site execution drawings, and BOQ understanding.
