About the role
As a highly skilled and motivated professional with strong experience in Java, Databricks, and Data & Analytics, you will be joining our growing team. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java technologies. - Working extensively on Databricks for data engineering, transformation, and analytics solutions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders. - Performing troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization. - Ensuring high-quality coding standards, documentation, and best practices. - Supporting production environments during EST business hours. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 4-6 years of IT experience in software development and data engineering. - Strong hands-on experience in Java / J2EE, Databricks, and Data & Analytics. - Good understanding of APIs, ETL processes, and cloud-based data platforms. - Experience working with SQL and large datasets. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Comfortable working in an offshore EST support model. Additionally, exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/GCP, experience with Spark, Python, or data visualization tools, Agile/Scrum experience, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field are preferred skills for this role.
