Sr. Functional Analyst - PaPM

What s the role The Senior Functional Analyst PaPM will is responsible for identifying and documenting the business needs of their clients and stakeholders. Will be extensively working in the area of S/4 PaPM. Deliver SAP Profitability and Performance Management (SAP PaPM) solutions to the business, proficient in analyzing and translating Business/Process requirements to technical requirements Performs the configurations ensures that Build standards are adhered to best practices. Understanding of Business requirements and develop the IT Solution by working along with Process Architects/Design Authorities Works with Lead Business Analyst/Process Experts to develop design specification for solutions with high complexity Performs Unit Test, and supports Integration Test for the applicable solutions Undertake Problem Analysis to identify root causes of incidents, escalating findings within the Line and Business, to minimize such incidents re-occurring Drive resolution of defects during test cycles and hyper care as well as for critical incidents. Define and Safeguard IT solution to ensure Robust, Supportable Scalable to ensure IT documentations are updated prior to CAB meetings. Propose any possible functional improvement in the existing solutions. Has detailed functional understanding of the application / module in their scope and how this is supporting the business process Ensure that all changes are properly and extensively documented. Fully comply with and adhere to, all Group IT standards and Processes What we need from you Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 8+ years of experience in ECC and S4 HANA FI Controlling module configuration and understanding of the associated business processes. Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in SAP PaPM, including 1 2 end-to-end (E2E) implementations in SAP Profitability and Performance Management (SAP PaPM), and a proven track record of delivering multiple PaPM use cases. Strong domain business knowledge in Accounting Cost Accounting. Understanding of defining the data models in PaPM, integrations (SAP and non-SAP systems), standard capabilities in PaPM and design of business rules. Understanding of Cost and Revenue allocation process design and implementation. Good functional knowledge/experience in financial allocation processes Understanding of Tax - Direct Tax is added advantage. Experience and knowledge in one or more mentioned SAP technologies modules like SAP BW / SAP HANA / SAP BPC Knowledge in S4 HANA integration with other modules will be an advantage. Well versed with S4 HANA system implementation methodology. Dedication to meet the customer requirements and expectations, taking ownership of problems and respond in a proactive manner where appropriate. Good problem analysis skills and English communication skills, verbally and in writing. Ability to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority.
