IAM Engineer - Okta

As an IAM Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for working on client-facing Identity and Access Management (IAM) implementation projects. You should have hands-on experience in configuring Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), application integrations, and user lifecycle management. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Participate in client-facing Okta IAM implementation projects. - Configure and manage Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and access policies in Okta. - Integrate SaaS and custom applications with Okta using: - SAML - OAuth 2.0 - OpenID Connect (OIDC) - Implement and support user lifecycle management (Joiner - Mover - Leaver). - Configure automated provisioning and de-provisioning using SCIM. - Onboard new applications and users into the Okta platform. - Troubleshoot authentication, MFA, SSO, and provisioning issues. - Analyze Okta system logs to identify and resolve issues. - Collaborate with client IT, security, and application teams to ensure smooth deployments. - Prepare basic technical documentation, configuration guides, and handover artifacts. - Support UAT, go-live activities, and post-production operations. Qualifications Required: - 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Okta IAM. - Strong understanding of IAM concepts, including SSO, MFA, and access controls. - Experience integrating applications using SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC. - Knowledge of SCIM-based provisioning and identity lifecycle management. - Ability to troubleshoot IAM-related issues in production environments. - Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
