SDWAN - Subject Matter Expert

Hiring: SD-WAN Subject Matter Expert (SME) Location: Pan India (Preferred: Pune/Bangalore/Delhi NCR) Experience: 12+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced SD-WAN Subject Matter Expert (SME) with 12+ years of enterprise networking experience to lead the design, deployment, and operations of next-generation SD-WAN solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in architecting large-scale SD-WAN environments and should have proven experience in setting up and managing an SD-WAN Network Operations Center (NOC) , including defining operational processes, monitoring frameworks, escalation models, and service delivery standards. This role requires strong technical leadership in SD-WAN architecture, routing and switching, network security, automation, cloud connectivity, and NOC transformation. Key Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise-scale SD-WAN solutions for global networks. Lead brownfield migration from MPLS, Internet, and Hybrid WAN to SD-WAN architecture. Build and establish an end-to-end SD-WAN NOC infrastructure , including operational workflows, monitoring tools, incident management, and L1/L2/L3 support models. Define NOC SOPs, SLAs, KPIs, escalation matrices, and operational governance. Design High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents. Deploy Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) for branch onboarding and lifecycle management. Configure application-aware routing, QoS, traffic engineering, and centralized policy management. Integrate SD-WAN with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud environments. Implement secure overlays using IPsec VPN, GRE tunnels, SASE, Zero Trust, and network segmentation. Lead troubleshooting of complex routing, performance, and security issues. Drive automation using Python, Ansible, REST APIs, JSON, and YANG models. Collaborate with telecom providers, OEMs, and cross-functional teams to ensure high availability and network optimization. Mentor engineering and NOC teams while driving technical best practices. Designing L1, L2, and L3 operational support models. Creating monitoring dashboards and alerting frameworks. Incident, Problem, Change, and Capacity Management. 24x7 Network Operations governance. Knowledge Base (KB), SOP, RCA, and Runbook creation. Service Transition and Operational Readiness. Preferred Certifications CCNP Enterprise Cisco Certified Specialist Enterprise SD-WAN CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (Preferred) Fortinet NSE 7 PCNSE VMware VCP-NV ITIL Foundation Educational Qualification Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related field.
