Design Engineer

Shall be responsible for assisting engineering work in the design and development of systems and components. Shall be responsible for interfacing with engineering staff effectively to ensure the form, fit, and function of designs. Shall be responsible for working with production managers to ensure cost effectiveness and manufacturability of designs. Shall be responsible for collaborating with the engineering work to produce design sketches and drawings in accordance with applicable standards. Shall be responsible for originating or reviewing structural analyses, prototype test processes, operations procedures, and reports using computer-aided engineering (CAE) and appropriate computer software. Qualification Skills Required Excellent in Part/Assembly/Drawing Configuration Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects. Strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas. An excellent grasp of engineering and design principles.
