About the role
You will be part of the Questa Simulation Product, a core R&D team focusing on multiple verticals of Simulation. The team comprises energetic and enthusiastic individuals striving towards innovation and excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to core algorithmic advancements and software design/architecture within the QuestaSim R&D team of Siemens EDA. - Collaborate with senior software engineers to ensure the final production quality of new components and algorithms. - Engage in building new engines and supporting existing code to enhance product functionality and performance. Your self-motivation, self-discipline, and goal-oriented approach in a dynamic environment will be crucial for your success in this role. Job Qualifications: - Hold a B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) from a reputable institution with at least 16 years of experience. - Proficient in C/C++, algorithms, and data structures. - Familiarity with compiler concepts and optimizations, as well as experience with UNIX and/or LINUX platforms. - Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently while guiding others towards project success. Desirable Skills: - Strong grasp of basic digital electronics concepts. - Knowledge of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, especially in data-driven tasks. - Proficiency in hardware description languages like Verilog, SystemVerilog, and VHDL. - Experience with parallel algorithms, job distribution techniques, and exposure to simulation or formal verification methodologies is advantageous.
