About the role
Role Overview: In our Business Unit Industrial Applications, you will be responsible for managing the technical scope for the supply of new packaged rotating equipment for onshore and offshore projects in the oil and gas sector and other process industries. This includes gas turbine-generators, gas turbine-compressors, electric motor-driven compressor trains, and extended plant scope. You will work closely with the Project Manager to address technical concerns and lead global technical project teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the complete technical scope for the supply of new packaged rotating equipment - Lead global technical project teams of multi-discipline engineers, designers, and suppliers - Manage engineering schedule and ensure on-time release of equipment specifications and customer documentation - Ensure all technical contract requirements on assigned projects are met, including certifications and compliance with applicable standards - Provide engineering support during proposal, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, and operation - Support the team with detailed design decisions to meet contract requirements - Conduct detailed reviews of contract requirements and specifications and communicate these to the project team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications - Ability to travel up to 20% of the time - Experience with Engineering/PLM software (Teamcenter, NX, E3, COMOS, Jira) - Excellent computer skills including Pivot Tables, VBA, or other programming languages - Experience with SAP - Prior knowledge of Siemens applications, customers, processes, and products Additional Details: Siemens Energy's Business Unit Industrial Applications offers comprehensive digital portfolio solutions in the oil and gas sector and other process industries.
