About the role
Role Summary We are seeking a skilled DevOps Tooling Engineer with strong expertise in C#/.NET development, PowerShell scripting, and CI/CD automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining internal tools, automating engineering workflows, supporting Windows-based products, and driving continuous improvement across build and release processes. This role requires robust debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across development, QA, and operations teams. Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain tools and utilities using C#/.NET. - Create automation scripts using PowerShell. - Design, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines. - Support and maintain Windows-based applications and services. - Troubleshoot, debug, and perform root cause analysis for application, build, and deployment issues. - Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve delivery efficiency. - Document technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders. Required Skills - Strong knowledge of C#/.NET and software development fundamentals. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, etc.). - Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills in Windows environments. - Familiarity with Git, build automation, and release processes. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills - Experience with Azure, Windows Security, Virtualization, WiX Toolset, and advanced scripting. - Familiarity with DevOps best practices, infrastructure automation, and deployment frameworks. - Exposure to installer packaging, software distribution, and enterprise Windows ecosystems.
