Domain Tester - PCS 7

As a Test Engineer at Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited, your role will involve System Testing of Products based on PCS 7. You will be responsible for designing, writing, reviewing, and executing test cases, as well as test case automation for PCS 7 products. Additionally, you will write bug reports, verify them after fixes, and carry out Performance Tests. Furthermore, you will be involved in Test Automation of existing test cases and interact with Business Partners for technical clarifications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, write, review, and execute test cases for Products based on PCS 7 - Automate test cases and carry out Performance Tests - Write bug reports and verify them post fixes - Interact with Business Partners for technical clarifications - Perform Test Automation of existing test cases Qualifications Required: - BE in Electrical, Electronics & Communications or Instrumentation Engineering - 3-5 years of total experience in DCS with experience in process industries like Pharma, F&B, Oil & Gas (experience in PCS 7 SIMATIC Batch is an added advantage) - Commissioning experience of process plants with hands-on experience with SIMATIC products or DCS commissioning - Worked on Redundant PLCs configurations, Failsafe configurations, SCADA HMI (in-depth knowledge) - Hands-on working exposure on continuous and sequential control logics and field devices - Knowledge of fieldbus protocols like HART, Profibus, Modbus, Profinet, Profibus & Foundation Fieldbus, TCP/IP is a must - Knowledge of sensors/transducers - Temperature, Pressure, Level, Flow, Control Valves - Hands-on working experience on field devices (Commissioning, Configuring, Parametrizing) - In-depth understanding of FDA, GMP, and CFR, knowledge of Product Testing - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Join Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited in Bangalore and be a part of a global, diverse team that supports your growth and challenges you to excel in new ways.
