Generator Rotor & Exciter Design Engineer

Your role will involve working on Service Engineering projects related to Generator Rotor and Brushless exciters. Here's what you will be responsible for: - Performing Engineering & Design work for Service Engineering projects related to Generator Rotor and Brushless exciters - Developing detailed engineering instructions to support manufacturing operations associated with the service repair, modernization, and replacement of generator rotor and exciter products - Researching service history of equipment to specify appropriate modernizations - Creating design specifications and initiating revisions to upgrade products - Participating in Design Reviews to ensure the achievement of technical requirements of engineering projects - Communicating effectively with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing personnel through clear verbal and written instructions, specifications, and reports To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications: - B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with 3 - 7 years of industrial experience - Hands-on Experience on CAD Tool NX is a must; Experience on Creo (ProE) will be an added advantage - Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, DFA/DFM - Good knowledge of Strength of Materials, Mechanical Design Concepts, Machine Designs - Knowledge on SAP OPP transactions, & Teamcenter - Knowledge of Generator product (components and functioning) is desired - Strong written & verbal communication skills - Self-motivated and Team Player This role is based at Site - Gurgaon, with opportunities to visit other locations in India and beyond.
