As an Industrial Process Engineer - Locomotive at Siemens Mobility, your role will involve making a significant impact by carrying out various responsibilities including but not limited to: - Preparation and maintenance of Industrial documents such as Assembly Macro/Micro Process, DFM/A Analysis, Jigs & Tools, Tasks Sequence, Line balancing, Work Instructions, In-process Kanbans, Inspection Check sheets, PFMEAs, Control plans, Lifting plans, Packaging instructions, etc. to meet the required Takt for Production. - Determining and updating the Station-wise Work content, Assembly times, Resource loading, etc. using the MTM methodology to increase Productivity and Quality. - Conducting regular CFT meetings to design and update the Plant Layout, Material flow, and Work areas for maximum efficiency. - Providing support in the development of new production processes during the procurement and installation phases. - Carrying out Ergonomic analysis in the work area and implementing corrective actions to ensure adequate conditions for Production area personnel. - Defining Capacity planning for Production lines and analyzing Production staffing requirements and schedules. - Maintaining the SAP ERP system during and after the Production process and/or Product changes. - Participating in CCB to validate Engineering/Procurement/Supplier Quality/Process changes and defining the rank of application. - Implementing methodologies such as SMED, Value Stream Mapping, Problem-solving techniques, and 5S + Safety in the Production area. - Planning and implementing Continuous Improvement system throughout the Production processes. - Maintaining Professional and Technical knowledge by attending Educational seminars/workshops and benchmarking industry practices. - Planning & organizing Trainings for the Manufacturing team for Industrialization and New production processes. - Supporting in Recruitment, Selection, On-boarding, Training, and Mentoring of Siemens employees. Desired Skills: - Graduate in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field. - 8-10 years experience in the Rolling stock domain with Industrialization experience. - Ability to interpret technical plans, blueprints, layouts, drawings, etc. - Proficient in Value stream mapping, Line balancing, and work-measurement techniques. - Knowledge of Microsoft office suite, AutoCAD, SAP ERP, and effective technical and inter-personal skills. - Proficiency in English and Hindi.
