About the role
As a member of Siemens Global Business Services (GBS), you will play a crucial role in providing innovative digital solutions and customer-oriented business services. Your responsibilities will include: - Piping planning based on P&ID - Preparation of Isometric/prefab isometric - Checking Isometric drawings - Support modeling in 3D and preparation of support drawings in 2D for critical and non-critical pipelines - Preparation of piping GAD in 2D from 3D extracts - Reviewing vendor drawings such as tank drawings, pump drawings, pipeline components, Heat Exchangers, Heaters, etc. - Understanding customer Specifications/Contracts, HBDs Line Sizing, MOC selection, and pipe wall thickness calculation - Technical evaluation of offers and coordination with suppliers To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Minimum four (4) years of experience in Process engineering, particularly in the Power Plant/Steam Turbine domain with in-depth knowledge of steam piping and pipe support design - Total experience of 4 to 6 years for BE and 7 to 9 years for Diploma Holders - Ability to travel globally - Strong team player with excellent communication skills - Proficiency in Aveva E3D/PDMS software, Open Plant, (2D) AutoCAD/MicroStation Siemens values diversity and is committed to providing equal opportunities.
