Product Owner III

Role Overview: You will be a crucial member of an agile team, responsible for executing Product Management's product vision and business strategy to drive growth. Your main focus will be managing the complete journey from the backlog to delivered solution, using data analysis to prioritize work, define requirements, and ensure quality before delivery. You will work closely with development teams to execute using agile methodologies and leverage AI tools to enhance your effectiveness in various tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity in backlog management, analysis, writing, and decision-making. - Provide leadership and mentorship to junior Product Owners, guiding them in best practices. - Collaborate strategically with Product Management to influence product visions, roadmaps, and business strategies. - Partner closely with Engineering Managers to advocate for agile teams' needs within Product Management. - Lead or support the development of methodologies and best practices within the Product Owner function. - Participate in management reviews and represent product ownership perspectives. - Develop solutions to real-world market problems by executing agile methodologies, breaking down work into clear user stories, and running effective agile ceremonies. - Communicate sprint priorities and goals in alignment with release objectives, roadmap, and timelines. - Participate in customer discovery and market research to drive valuable solutions. - Serve as the champion of customer experience, partnering with UX/design and professional services. - Understand and evangelize Product Management's business strategy, ensuring alignment with agile development teams. - Monitor KPI metrics, drive continuous improvements, identify and escalate risks, and ensure features meet quality standards. Qualifications Required: - BA/BS in a technical subject area or equivalent work experience supporting products from a technical perspective. - 5-7 years of experience as a Product Owner, including user story writing, acceptance criteria definition, backlog management, and agile ceremonies. - Proficiency in backlog/roadmap management tools (Jira or similar). - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate business value, customer needs, and technical requirements. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on data. - Comfortable with AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar, to enhance productivity and analysis.
