About the role
As a Production Engineer Assembly & Testing Railway Signaling Products (ACM) at Siemens Mobility, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality railway signaling products. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and optimizing workflows to meet production targets in terms of quality, quantity, and timely delivery. - Practicing 5S and continuous improvement in the factory environment. - Performing assembly and testing of PCB and electronic products under ESD-safe conditions. - Ensuring compliance with ISO and IRIS auditing requirements. - Maintaining awareness and adherence to SIL-4 safety standards. - Handling RDSO customer inspections and documentation. - Collaborating with design and quality teams for root cause analysis and corrective actions. - Preparing and maintaining test reports, inspection records, and audit documentation. - Creating a production dashboard for GEMBA review. - Being flexible to work in rotational shifts. - Understanding the QAP, STR, and ability to handle FAT at the time of customer inspection. - Ensuring compliance with internal and local EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards. - Handling the measuring instruments. Desired Skills: - Education: Diploma/BE in ECE/EEE/E&I. - Experience: 5+ years in railway signaling product assembly and testing. - Hands-on experience with handling measuring instruments, PCB assembly, and soldering under ESD conditions. - Experience in electronic product testing and programming, ISO and IRIS audits, and SIL-4 product compliance. - Familiarity with factory working setup and RDSO inspection processes. - Axle counter experience will be an added advantage.
