About the role
Role & Responsibilities Works as Software Engineer in the MR Digitalization team, driving pre-development and innovation initiatives for MR scanner technologies. Independently build prototypes and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to validate new ideas, technologies, algorithms, and product concepts. Take end-to-end ownership of technical topics-from concept exploration, solution design to implementation and validation with high-quality delivery Leverage AI-assisted engineering practices to accelerate experimentation, development, debugging, and technical problem solving. Documentation- Document technical specifications, design decisions, prototype outcomes, APIs/SDKs, and application guides Qualification and Experience: 4–6 years of professional experience in software design and development B.E./B.Tech./M. Tech. in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline. Strong programming skills in Python; experience with C# and C++ is desirable. Hands-on experience in Machine Learning/CUDA, preferably applied to image and/or signal processing Familiarity with Docker/Containerization, Azure DevOps, and cloud platforms is desirable. Experience with medical imaging data (e.g., MRI, DICOM) is an advantage High learning agility with curiosity to explore and adopt emerging technologies and engineering practices. Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems Strong ownership, accountability, and ability to work with minimal guidance Excellent collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional and global teams
