As a Solution Engineer Integration specializing in E-House Engineering at Siemens, your role involves reviewing customers' technical specifications, one-line diagrams, and plant layouts to design appropriate solutions using Siemens MV/LV switchgear products and associated protection systems. Your responsibilities include: - Engaging independently with customers during Order Kick-off meetings and business development discussions - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for efficient project execution - Creating all necessary documents for customer approval and manufacturing E-House at supplier works - Generating technical solutions for Siemens products in collaboration with globally based sales & proposal teams - Taking complete technical ownership of scope defined in solution package projects - Leading efforts to enhance team processes and tools for improved efficiency - Ensuring confidentiality of Siemens and customer information Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering - 8 years of engineering experience in EPC, engineering, manufacturing, utility, or industrial corporate environment - 5+ years of experience in E-House or building electrical integration engineering - Knowledge of Substation Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams, Communication Lines, and International Standards - Experience in design, review, and manufacturing of E-House or building electrical integration engineering - Familiarity with MS Project, Project Management, and Document Management - Excellent communication skills for coordinating with customers and suppliers - Strong collaboration, leadership, and decision-making skills in a team environment This role is based in Chennai, India, with less than 10% of travel required.
